Лис и пёс 2
Зельда – старая серая кошка, принадлежащая Лайлу Снодграссу и путешествующая вместе с «Поющими бродягами». По словам Зельды, у неё «когда-то был парень по имени Томас О…» (ей не дали договорить; если она имела в виду Томаса О’Мэлли из «Котов-аристократов», это значит, что действие «Лиса и пса» происходит в первой половине ХХ века).
Зельда считает себя лучшей подругой Дикси и поэтому изо всех сил пыталась помочь ей после того, как Дикси была уволена и заменена Коппером. Прямо перед выступлением она и Дикси угостили Коппера арахисовым маслом, чтобы у того слиплись зубы; рассерженный Тод, увидев это, запустил в Зельду банкой с маслом, а потом помог другу разлепить зубы с помощью молока.
Вечером Коппер забыл об обещании, данном Тоду, и не пришёл смотреть фейерверк; Зельда сказала, что теперь так будет всегда, но упрямый Тод ей не поверил. Вскоре выяснилось, что и Тод, и уволенная Дикси хотят одного и того же: убрать Коппера из ансамбля. Зельда обрадовалась, когда Тод вступил в союз с Дикси и сообщил ей, что Коппер – не бродячий пёс, но активного участия в их плане она не принимала.
